Prerequisites
List-Based Data Studio customers can unlock the value of Weekly Sales Email regardless of the CRM platform being used. In order to leverage this feature, customers must have the Sales Activation package as part of their subscription. Customers should also have at least one Engagement Model configured and Bombora Intent topics selected in the Terminus platform to leverage the full value of the feature.
Customers using our list-based Data Studio configuration can provide a list of recipients’ email addresses to get started. Additionally, Terminus may need customers to
- Designate which field on the Account object file denotes owner emails
- Confirm that expected recipients received the email when it is initially sent out
- Update their Terminus team on users to add/remove from the rep list, as needs change. To update or remove records, please see "Updating Records for List-Based Users" below.
The following Data Studio List-based Integration is currently supported; however, Weekly Sales Email functionality may differ based on the integration. Regardless of whether your organization chooses to leverage Single Account Owner or Multi-Owner Accounts, an additional CSV file that contains an ACCOUNTID to EMAIL ADDRESS mapping is required. This file should be uploaded in the same way you upload your other files.
- Single Account Owners: Email will be sent to at most one Account Owner per Account record.
- Multi-Owner Accounts: Email will be sent to any Account Owners mapped to an account.
Updating Records for List-Based Users
- The list-based CSV ingestion updates and adds emails to the data tables. If any records need to be removed, submit a support request through the Terminus Support Portal.
- If the CSV file is updated weekly with only new records (not the full recipient list) we will append the new records to the existing list – messages will be delivered to any existing and new recipients.
- To ensure new recipients receive the Weekly Sales Emails, you must submit a support request through the Terminus Support Portal to have new recipients enabled. If a recipient is only added to the CSV ingestion file, and not enabled by our Support team, they will not receive emails.
Configuration
Customers can expect to have their Terminus Onboarding Specialist and a Solutions Consultant assist them in getting their list-based integration configured.
Key considerations for getting started include:
- Customers need to have Visitor ID installed on their website, with Engagement Models setup for the Most Engage Accounts data to populate.
- Customers need to have Bombora intent topics established for Top Accounts with Intent data to populate.
- Initial data upload is required using one of the following methods:
- Terminus provided shared Dropbox (Easiest Method for Standard Configuration)
- SFTP Server (Custom scope with Terminus Solutions Consultant)
- Connect directly with an AWS account (Custom scope with Terminus Solutions Consultant)
- Customers will be responsible for replacing current files with their new/updated data using the storage method selected during onboarding.
- To utilize Single or Multi-Account Owner functionality, an additional CSV file that contains an ACCOUNTID to EMAIL ADDRESS mapping is required. This file should be uploaded in the same way you upload your other email lists.
- ‘Most Active Contact’ metric is not supported for List-Based integrations as this metric requires AccountTeammember, Contact, OpportunityTeamMember, and Task data, in order to surface a contact in the Weekly Sales Email. Currently, Salesforce Enhanced Account Owners (AO+) is the only integration that displays this metric.
- The cap on the number of email recipients is dependent on the number of seats purchased. Please submit a ticket in the Terminus Support Portal if you have questions about seat capacity.
- Typically, Weekly Sales Emails are set up during onboarding. However, they can be enabled at any time as long as you’ve met the subscription and data prerequisites. If you already have the Sales Activation package, please submit a ticket in the Terminus Support Portal to have your Weekly Sales Email enabled. If you’d like to sign up to purchase the Sales Activation package or are unsure if you already have it, please reach out to your Terminus Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

Email to Account Mapping Sample File
- The Email to Account Mapping file can be many-to-many but requires ONE email address per line. For example, you’ll see 4 rows of EMAIL ADDRESSES for the same ACCOUNT ID if that Account had 4 “owners” that should receive the email.
Data Requirements
The data requirements to utilize the Weekly Sales Emails for List-Based Integrations include specific fields found on the Account and Opportunity objects. These fields will likely be configured as part of your standard Terminus Data Studio onboarding process, but we’ve listed them below as well.

Impact of Object Data
Required:
- The Account Object is required because it is the driving object of the report.
Optional:
- Opportunity data will enhance the deliverable because it will allow for pipeline and campaign opportunity influence metrics to be included.
