As part of the August 2021 product release, Dashboards in Measurement Studio have received both a refreshed look and setup workflow. While Dashboards will maintain much of the same functionality, users will notice improved tile visualization and creation steps, and a new Dashboards home screen.

Creating a New Dashboard
Previously, you would hover over the Dashboard icon in the Measurement Studio navigation bar to open a dialog box to create a new Dashboard. Now, you simply have to select the "Create Dashboard" button at the top of your screen.
The main differences:
- You no longer need to hover over the icon to see the create a dashboard button.
- You can now use breadcrumbs to navigate to the primary dashboard screen to select a different dashboard.
- You will no longer see a list of all the available dashboards when hovering over the primary navigation.
- You will no longer need to select a dashboard type.
Adding Tiles to a Dashboard
For both the legacy and new experience, you will select the "Add Tile" button to create a new tile, after creating a dashboard.
In the following example, you can see the changes to the experience for creating a Marketing Influence Dashboard tile.
NOTE: You may not see all of the tile options pictured in the video; reporting access is based on your current Terminus subscription.
The main differences:
- The configuration of your tiles will appear in two steps.
- When adding a Global Filter to your tile you will need to first add the filter element and then you will be provided with the option to configure which values you want to include in your Dashboard Tile.
- All selections will be automatically pre-checked.
- To remove a filter, select the trash icon to the right of the Global Filter element you want to remove.
