The Segment Index page functions as the central hub for Terminus' Segment Builder feature, allowing users to efficiently manage all created segments. Clicking into a segment name from the Segment Index page provides users with access to detailed reporting for that specific segment. The segment reporting comprises of three tabs, offering users:
- An at-a-glance summary of current segment account activities during the selected time period, including marketing activities, sales activities, intent surges, and engagement spikes.
- Top Accounts based on various filtering options: Site Engagements, Open Opportunities, Total Pipeline, Closed Won Revenue.
- Top Intent Topics based on the total number of surging accounts
- Rule Criteria Summary with Edit
- In-Segment Account Preview
Overview Tab
The Overview tab provides a snapshot of the current accounts in segment, showcasing key metrics and graphs for quick analysis, including:
- Marketing Activities: Displays the number of marketing activities for accounts in the segment.
- Sales Activities: Displays the number of sales activities for accounts in the segment.
- Intent Surges: Displays the number of intent surges for accounts in the segment.
- Engagement Spikes: Displays the number of engagement spikes for accounts in the segment.
The graph displays weekly, and by default, Month to Date is selected as the graph view, but users can easily switch to alternate date cohorts such as Quarter to Date, Last [X] Days, or apply custom date ranges.
Users can also explore their Top Accounts within the segment, filtering based on various data points, such as:
- Engagement Spikes: Highlights top accounts based on the total number of engagement spikes.
- Open Opportunities: Highlights top accounts based on the total number of open opportunities.
- Total Pipeline: Highlights top accounts based on the total value of all open opportunities.
- Closed Won Revenue: Highlights top accounts based on the value of all closed won opportunities.

Intent Topic: Highlights surging Intent topics based on the total number of accounts experiencing surges.
Note: When you click on an account name, you will be redirected to its corresponding page in Data Studio.
Rule Settings/Edit Tab
The Rule tab offers a static view of the segment rules. Users can modify these rules by selecting "Edit Segment" to make necessary adjustments.
Accounts Tab
The Accounts tab provides a preview of accounts currently in the segment—adjusting and saving new rule criteria will update this table with accounts in segment. To review historical accounts in a segment, users can visit the Account Hub, apply the segment within Global Filters, adjusting the date cohort accordingly. Additionally, users can search for specific accounts within the table and export accounts as a CSV directly from this tab.
Usage Tab
The "Usage" tab displays a list of Campaign Names and Types where the segment is currently in use. You can click on the campaign name to be redirected to that specific campaign.
